so is there anyone ever on here who is in charge of this derby? ive been hearing some rumors, that make a person not even want to bring a car to a fixed derby if all the inspectors/ flaggers are going to let all their friends in and not any of the competition.....Thats the big problem with the fair derby its fixed because some certain people are friends with the inspectors.  If whoever is running this wants a good turn out they should have people in there who are neutral to the whole drama thing that goes on up there, along with either a higher pay out, or allow harder cars in. Thats just my opinion, the 14 year olds hit harder than what the people who run lincoln do.

This derby is not associated in any way with the fair derby.  The fair derby is put on by the fair association and whoever they hire to run it.  This derby is promoted by the speedway owners.   Hope that answers your questions.  For any other questions, feel free to call 217-737-7134

just a lil feedback from saturday......IF you have another one allow suicides, you would of had over 20 cars easily, have neutral flaggers, as in them black flagging 17 for hitting bradburn, it was the getting towards the end of the feature and he was hitting their buddy/brother, who cares its a derby. yes you made the right call on making dobbles,( the blue chryler) load up, but the wagon should of ran, its not up too the drivers discression on what runs and what doesnt. Also 1st-3rd place trophies, and if you have a higher purse you'll get a higher car count. But dont change a thing on rules people like to build their cars and thats what got in was built cars. Just my 2 cents Undecided
