They are not racing because there is a POWRi show in the area on Saturday.  We have noticed that when they are in the area, we lose most of our regular cars so we have decided to not run them on those nights.

But there is no Powri show that night.  I was wondering why we were not on the schedule.      Last weekend was a bad night, not just because of powri at macon but 1000 to win in coles county, and graduations were last weekend.  if we had a earlier notice we could have had over 10 cars the june 6th.  and what about July 18th.    or the UMP nationals . i know it says TBA  but a notice sooner then later gives cars  more notice to make plans.     i know powri just had a problem with there schedule because jacksonville was for a saturday night, and they dont run saturdays.  macon could race anyday, but i havent seen many races at jacksonvile that were not on a friday.

We appreciate the support we have received from the mini-sprints this year and enjoy the addition they have made to Lincoln Speedway.  Unfortunately, we have to have more that 10 cars to support the purse that we are paying.  The POWRi race this Saturday is at Quincy (changed from Jacksonville) and that is close enough to pull a lot of our drivers away.  We apologize for the last minute decision last week but we had a lot of drivers ask to race and so we added them.  Next Saturday, we were hoping to have the Mini-sprints with the Non-wing Sprints but now POWRi has added a show at Belleville so we won't be able to have them again.  After that, we don't see anymore schedule conflicts so we hope to once again have a full field.  Sorry for any inconvience caused to the drivers who have supported us every week and don't follow POWRi.

There is no Mini's at quincy  just midgets.  and the June 13th race at belleville, on may 2nd you race against powri in belleville and still had good car count on the 2nd in Lincoln. So Please dont pull us from the 6-13 show. we will have 10 cars. gas prices are going up and some wont want to travel that far and get hope really late.  and like i said in the earlier post i dont think powri is going to race jacksonville on a saturday 7-18. i could be wrong but jacksonville does not race on saturdays which is why is was canceled the first time.

Any minis for the 6-28th show so we can get the word out early.

We will run Mini-Sprints this Saturday (6-13) with the Illinois Sprint Week race.  All classes except Crates will run.  Help spread the word!! Hope to see you there.
